The Indianapolis Black Alumni Council

Our Mission is to foster the ideals of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).  We seek to highlight the value of the nation’s 105 HBCUs and the critical role they have in producing the best and brightest African American graduates and professionals.  We encourage local high school students to attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities.  We strive to serve as an informational clearinghouse, disseminate information and maintain a presence with city, state and national school communities.  It is important for us to inspire HBCU graduates and former students to actively support their respective Alumni Associations.  We seek to maintain a spirit of fellowship, camaraderie and cooperation among council members.
